Our first recommendation would be to seek out and fight high-level enemies and V Bloods, as they often have quite a high chance to drop plant seeds. Now, seeds can be placed on both regular dirt/grass and Garden Floors. Once you're ready to plant, place the seed on your action bar, and then plant them by pressing the key assigned to that particular slot. To set up your resource farm, all you need is some plant seeds, a garden area within your Castle, and that's all. With that in mind, if you are able to build up enough supply of each seed, these resource farms are a fantastic way to passively gain plenty of resources over time - particularly Cotton and Highland Lotus.
Unfortunately, the plants will need to replenish after each harvest, which can take a few in-game hours to occur. This is where farming comes in, as you'll be able to find seeds throughout the various regions in Vardoran that can be planted and harvested unlimitedly. There comes a point in V Rising where gathering limited resources from specified areas is no longer adequate, as the only way to proceed in the game is to begin farming resources and materials by other means that can yield you higher returns for far less effort.
